Winco Tecnologia e Sistemas was founded in 1997, a Brazilian company created by people passionate about technology, security systems and data transmission via the Internet.
It had only been 2 years since the commercial Internet was released in Brazil and Winco captured the growing need for companies to manage data via the Internet. We created NETEDI , a data transmission system between companies for computers using the MS-DOS and Windows 3.11 operating systems, revolutionary for using TCP/IP with Linux.
In 1999 we opened a branch in São Paulo and started selling Winconnection 1.0 , a Proxy server for companies that needed to share the Internet on Windows servers.
Aware of the need for broadband customers to have their own addresses for remote access via the internet, in 2002 we launched Winco DDNS (dynamic DNS service), which remained free for more than a decade and is today the national leader in the segment.
We were distributors of AVG Anti-Virus between 2003 and 2014 . After this period, we sold our operation and decided to move forward with self-developed products, focused on high-technology market niches.
In 2013 we launched Winco Talk Manager , with strong success in several segments, especially the financial market, and today it is the Skype control and recording solution most used by Bovespa stockbrokers.
We don't stop! In 2014 , we launched Netprotection – a Web Filtering product for small businesses and homes.
Invited by AVAST Software sro , given our expertise acquired through the distribution of security products, we are the Customer Care Center for all of Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula, helping millions of customers who need help with Avast and AVG Anti-virus, whether from the corporate segment, small businesses or home users.
We continued with our own product development and launched VPN Cloud in 2019, a VPN connectivity solution that does not require advanced firewall configurations and allows rapid interconnection between headquarters and branches.
At the beginning of 2020, we added support for Whatsapp in Winco TalkManager , allowing the archiving of messages transmitted between the application, with a focus on compliance and auditing of B3 and CMN in regulation 4658/2018.
With 1,500 resellers operating in all Brazilian states, we believe we have reached sufficient maturity to achieve success in technology products and services.
